Caruso's Berberine 750 utilises a high strength* standardised extract of Berberis aristata which contains the bioactive alkaloid compound Berberine. Caruso's Berberine 750 assists sugar and carbohydrate metabolism and helps maintain healthy blood sugar. Berberis aristata is also used in traditional Ayurvedic Medicine to help protect the liver and support bile flow.

Native to the Northern Himalayan region, Berberis aristata may also be known by its common name Indian Barberry. Berberis aristata plays an important part in traditional Ayurvedic medicine where it is used to protect the liver and to help support the flow of bile. It is also used to help support healthy blood sugar and assist in glucose metabolism.
